Asken Diet Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their 'Personally Identifiable Information' (PII) is being used online. PII, as described in US privacy law and information security, is information that can be used on its own or with other information to identify, contact, or locate a single person, or to identify an individual in context. Please read our Privacy Policy carefully to get a clear understanding of how we collect, use, protect or otherwise handle your PII in accordance with our website. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and is subject to Asken’s Terms of Use. By using Asken’s services, you represent and warrant that you have read and consent to the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

For purposes herein, “Asken” is also referred to as “Company”. All capitalized terms not expressly defined herein shall have those means ascribed to them in the Asken Terms of Use.

WHAT PII DO WE COLLECT FROM THE PEOPLE WHO VISIT OUR WEBSITE, OR APPLICATIONS?

Account Information:
When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your email address, ZIP code, body information or other details to help you with your experience. We may also collect information from you when you respond to a survey, fill out a form, or otherwise enter information on our site.

Dietary habit and Basic health information:
You will also be required to self-report dietary habit, daily exercise, and basic health information (body height, body weight, age, etc.) to get dietary feedback in the Applications. We collect the information you share with us and that is otherwise through the Applications, in the registration process or information from your device (such as how many steps taken in a day or what other online sites you have visited) and use such information to provide specific feedback to you about your diet and health. We also aggregate such personal information which we use for benchmarking or other analytic purposes. We collect no other the data from you without your additional permission.

Device Information And Your IP Address:
We collect your device information including device model, OS, language setting, time zone and your IP Address for adjusting the content of the Applications or the Website and for enhancing the delivery of Services.

Cookies:
When you visit our site, we use cookies and other services to improve your experience. For more information, see our cookie policy before.

Social Media:
If you use Facebook login for login to the Applications or the Website, the Company obtains your account information from Facebook. However, the Company will not use this information to contact you or your “Friends” on Facebook.

Purchase Information:
When you purchase our premium Service via the App Stores (iOS App Store and Google Play Store), the Company reviews and stores your purchase information for verification purposes.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR INFORMATION?

We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in the following ways:

To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
To improve our website in order to better serve you.
To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
To administer a contest, promotion, survey, or other site feature.

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
The Company keeps your data for as long you continue to use the Services. Upon termination of the Services by you, your personally identifiable data will be deleted.

HOW DO WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION?

We do not use vulnerability scanning and/or scanning to PCI standards. We never ask for credit card numbers.

Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive information and credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.

We implement a variety of security measures when a user enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information. All transactions are processed through a gateway provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.

DO WE USE 'COOKIES'?

Yes. HOW WE RESPOND TO DO NOT TRACK SIGNALS

We honor Do Not Track (DNT) signals and do not track, plant cookies, or use advertising when a DNT browser mechanism is in place.

GOOGLE ADVERTISING

We use Google AdSense Advertising on our website, and Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on our site. Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to our users based on previous visits to our site and other sites on the Internet. Google's advertising policies are available here. THE CALIFORNIA ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (CALOPPA)

CalOPPA is the first state law in the nation to require commercial websites and online services to post a privacy policy. The law's reach stretches well beyond California to require any person or company in the United States (and conceivably the world) that operates websites collecting PII from California consumers to post a conspicuous privacy policy on its website stating exactly the information being collected and those individuals or companies with whom it is being shared. In accordance with CalOPPA, we agree to the following:
• Users can visit our site anonymously.
• This Privacy Policy will be available through a link on our home page or, at a minimum, on the first significant page after entering our website.
• Our Privacy Policy link will include the word 'Privacy' and be easily accessible on the page specified above.
• Users will be notified of any Privacy Policy changes on our Privacy Policy page and/or through “pop-up” notifications.
• Users will be able to change their personal information by logging into their account.

DOES OUR SITE ALLOW THIRD-PARTY BEHAVIORAL TRACKING?

The Company uses Google Analytics and Google Firebase as tools for collecting user behavior in the relative to the Services to improve user experiences. Asken also uses Google Admob which is a tool for distributing advertising in the connection with the Services. In connection with the delivery of the Services, Asken also uses Repro, which is a tool for collecting user behavior in the Applications and Website and is used to improve user experience. For further details on Repro’s privacy practices please click here.

At its sole discretion and upon subsequent notice to Members, Asken reserves the right to add or remove any such additional third parties that may conduct third party tracking.

THE CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (COPPA)

The Federal Trade Commission, the United States' consumer protection agency, enforces COPPA and the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online. You can learn more about COPPA and the COPPA Rule here.

We do not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we will take steps to remove the information and terminate the child's account.

EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS

From time to time, Asken will send emails to the address you share with us. The information we will send by email may relate to such issues as system maintenance, wellness, and other information that may be of interest to you. If you don’t want to receive any further emails from Asken, you can opt out by modifying your profile setting.

HOW CAN YOU ACCESS OR CHANGE YOUR INFORMATION?

You can access and change your information when you log in to the Applications or the Website and make the desired modifications on the profiles page.
